Exceptional Careers Opening Now for the Hospitality Industry

We are getting ready for high season in the hospitality industry.

Summer is low season for South Florida’s hotel and hospitality industry. But during the months between November, December, January the industry tend to experience its best turnouts; meaning hotel rooms get booked to capacity and restaurants see more patrons dining at their tables than any other months out of the year. Although some hotels and restaurants may see low occupancies before and after the high summer season, that doesn’t mean tourists stop visiting South Florida nor does it mean people completely stop dining out after summer. Matter-of-fact, you might be surprised to find out that the upcoming holiday season is as prosperous for the hotel and hospitality businesses as it is for the retail industry. People buy gifts for their friends and love ones and often, those gifts include gift cards to hotels and restaurants. So as retail destinations such as Wal-Mart, Best Buy and Amazon get ready for Black Friday and the humongous rush of customers that come with it so are hotels and restaurants.

“Hotels tend to offer great package deal around the holiday season and restaurants tend to update their menus to match the theme of the holidays,” says RMG Staffing President Ricardo Michelangeli. “Hotels and restaurants are starting to add more employees to their staff in order to support the holiday rush. Our industry will definitely end the year on a high note.”
