On The Scene with RMG Staffing: Veuve Clicquot Carnaval

Imagine sipping sparkling rosé champagne while mingling with the hottest celebrities in the entertainment world as a remarkable group of Colombian salsa dancers shake their bodies in effortless motion to the sound of Latin rhythms and pop music. On March 21, the renowned Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin French Champagne brand produced their fourth annual Veuve Clicquot Carnaval.  Over 4,000 locals, celebrities, and influencers attended the event which was held at Museum Park.

“This year, we were excited to expand the event overall,” Aygline Pechdo, vice president at Veuve Clicquot USA stated in a press release. “Our goal is to cultivate a unique, vibrant, and exciting experience for our attendees and continue to grow Clicquot Carnaval into the most highly-anticipated and must-attend event in Miami, year after year.”

The festive gathering was in support of Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) and our dedicated team at RMG Staffing was very much honored to have provided the staff for the event. Those in attendance included Insecure actress Issa Rae, Tessa Thompson from the blockbuster movies such as Creed and Thor: Ragnarok, Edgar Ramirez, Joan Smalls, Nacho Figueras, and Tyson Beckford.  Also in attendance were social media influencers, journalists, and socialites.

“We provided the staff for the Pegasus World Cup Invitational horse race that was held at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach earlier this year,” President of RMG Staffing Ricardo Michelangeli stated. “Veuve Clicquot Carnaval is another luxurious event that attracts successful leaders in various industries. The event has strong brand recognition and Veuve Clicquot is a five-star company that provides premium champagnes. The event was executed to perfection and we were honored to have been chosen to provide the staff that serviced the wonderful attendees.”

Along with the salsa dancers, additional entertainment was provided by DJ and fashion tastemaker May Kwok and a live drumming display that included a group of drummers who maneuvered through the crowd, daring the attendees not to dance to the sound their pulsating beats. Veuve Clicquot used the event to celebrate their 200th anniversary of the world’s first blended rosé champagne, which was established in 1818. Italian luxury fashion house FENDI was also there to feature their FENDI x Veuve Clicquot Rosé Charm. The Rosé Charm is a stunning little bag charm colored in Veuve Clicquot’s iconic pink rosé hue. It’s made of soft pastel pink fox fur, with polka-dot motif in shades of orange and tone-on-tone leather lace and includes a palladium-finish spring clip with an engraved Fendi logo tag.

The first Veuve Clicquot Carnaval was in 2015. The company brought the event to Miami to pay homage to the city’s tropical atmosphere and international flare. RMG Staffing was pleased to have participated in the event, and we can’t wait for 2019’s celebration.
